While some people see this as Samsung's attempt to take on the iPhone, the F700 actually reminds me of the Nokia N95. That's because both gadgets have similarities, like a built-in 5 megapixel camera and an HSDPA receiver. Besides, even if the F700 also relies on a touch-sensitive interface like the iPhone, it also has a thumbboard that slides out from underneath. Which is reminiscent of the Dopod 838 Pro.
Come to think of it, the F700 is actually Samsung's first foray into the kitchen sink department. And its unique VibeTonz function, which claims to make the virtual buttons on the 2.8" display (440 x 200 resolution), is something new in the smartphone and PDA market.
Thanks to Cellphone9 for the heads-up.

This is could be the iphone killer. Full QWERTY and 5 megapixel camera and 3G. iphone can't match that.

Not the first-gen iPhone anyway. Like I said, such a feature-packed device seems to be aimed at the likes of the Nokia N95 and the P990i
