There are rumors floating around regarding the possible launch of a new Windows Mobile Smartphone by a leading GPS device manufacturer known as Mio Technology. The device will be known as Mio Amber and it will featurethe new Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.
Here are the leaked details:
OS: Windows Mobile 6.5
Processor: Qualcomm 528 MHz MSM 7201A Turbo processor
Network: GSM, WCDMA / HSPA
Display: 3.61 inch display with WVGA resolution
Memory: 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, microSD support
Camera: 5 MP camera with Autofocus, Front VGA camera for video calling
GPS: Built-in GPS receiver
Connectivity: GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0
Others: Accelerometer, Noise Cancellation, Digital Compass, FM transmitter, M-sensor, G-sensor
Battery: 1500 mAh
There's no word on the pricing and availability as yet.
