Inserting SD Cards into Your Treo Was Never Less Annoying

A former Visor Deluxe user myself, I've always enjoyed Palm OS' simplicity and responsiveness; it was always easy to discover how to do things, and taps or presses usually got me results instantly.

But even in Palm's latest models, certain irritations with the interface still exist, such as what happens if you accidentally eject your SD card. Once you pop it back in, your work gets interrupted while you have to wait for your device to go through its My-SD-card-sense-is-tingling-routine, launching programs that take a while to start.

Luckily, as mytreo.net features, there are numerous free options to disable this "useful" feature. From the simply straightforward LaunchThis! and NoMountSwitch, to the feature-packed yet seemingly unstable NotifyMe!, you can say goodbye to your SD mounting problems.

Speaking of Treos: Engadget Mobile has some exclusive pics of a new Treo, probably the model Vodafone plans to release before the end of the year.
