Information Week’s Mobile Browser Showdown For About Mini Map

David DeJean's long article comparing different smartphone browsers is well-balanced. Even if he ends it with glowing praise for the iPhone's Safari, he's backed up his conclusion with a thorough exploration of the other browsers. Which means the first comment of the article-"My Gawd – How much is Apple paying you people?"-is pretty senseless in a cliché way.

Nevertheless, David left out an important player in the battlefield: Nokia's Mini Map. For some reason, a mobile browser that can display websites like they were on a desktop, and runs on more units than iPhones sold, wasn't included. Perhaps this is due to Nokia's weakness in the US (where the owner of Information Week, The TechWeb Network, is based), despite their clear commitment to increasing their presence there?
