Important Mobile Tool #3: Theme Editor

Yes, it's easy to be part of the crowd, especially if you've bought a particularly popular phone. That's why "themes" continues to be one of the most frequently searched terms on the Internet today. People want their gadget to stand out, and a really nice theme makes it happen.
But if you really want your own, individual look, especially when everyone's using those wonderful-looking skins, you might want to create your own theme. Here are some links to get you started, covering the three major mobile platforms:
Windows Mobile: Check out Pocket Customizer Bundle 1.3. It reminds me of that old-school Windows color customizer, because basically it lets you change the colors of the different Windows Mobile interface elements.
Palm Garnet OS: Since ACCESS Co. owns the OS formerly known as the Palm OS, it's fitting that the company's website has links to various theme-building resources for Garnet OS devices. Unfortunately, all of them involve some moolah.
Symbian: Well, this only covers the Series 60 variant of the Symbian OS, but the Series 60 Theme Studio is free. You'll need to be a bit patient about its user-unfriendliness though.
Ironically, these theme creators all require desktops to use. So I guess getting creative with your gadget's interface isn't an entirely mobile experience.
