I'd Rather Have More Battery Than Memory

Speaking of 8GB, Darla Mack recently announced the N95 8GB's availability at Nokia's flagship stores in Chicago and New York. Tomorrow for the former, the next day for the latter.

But even if I had $800 to spare, I'd rather wait for the US version of the N95. That's because that smartphone comes with a higher-capacity battery. More portable juice means less need to plug into a wall socket. Obviously, what's the use of having so much data at your disposal if your phone won't even stay on the entire day?

Of course, you can still get the N95 8GB and just cram in a bigger battery. But do you want to void the warranty of an eight-hundred dollar gadget?
