Good news for HTC as its Touch Diamond Smartphone has been awarded the EISA's European smartphone 2008-2009 award. The European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) was of the opinion that the HTC Diamond out ranked its competition by offering advanced mobile features in a small and attractive package and therefore it has been award the EISA award.

HTC Europe's Florian Seiche made the following comments on achieving the award, "We are excited to have received this accolade from EISA. HTC is committed to innovation and the Touch Diamond continues to stretch the limits of mobile technology by integrating advanced functionality into a thin and compact design achieving the ultimate in high performance."
