HTC has announced its first ever WiMAX Smartphone device known as the HTC T8290 AKA HTC Quartz packing some powerful connectivity features. The device will be able to provide high speed internet connections at around 14 Mbps, which is almost double the internet speed provided by HSDPA networks. It will be launched in association with Russian mobile WiMAX provider known as Yota. Here are the detailed specs:
