HP to Release New Entertainment PDA in Asia-Pacific
Sep 4, 2006

Here's an announced PDA from HP that may keep people buying standalone handhelds. It's obvious from its 2.8" widescreen display that the new HP iPAQ rx4000 will be a media-centric device. The Windows Mobile PDA will also boast Bluetooth and WiFi. Hopefully users will find its scroll-wheel intuitive. The rx4000 will also apparently have an SDIO slot, so I guess future customers will be able to add to the device's admittedly small 128MB internal memory.
The rx4000 seems to signify HP's push into the mobile market.
Release Date: An Asia-Pacific regional release is set for this October. No information for other areas is available yet.
