How Your Charger Wastes 95% of Your Electricity
Apparently, leaving your charger plugged into a wall when not in use can waste lots of electricity. If that's a regular habit, only 5% of the power you consume goes into your gadget's battery. While the other 95% goes nowhere, since there's probably no smartphone or PDA to catch the juice. So, when your device's battery is full, remember to unplug the charger--on both ends.

I'd ramble about how consuming less power lessens pollutionlinks, but I bet you're only interested in keeping your electric bill down. And how something plugged in is always vulnerable to voltage spikes.
