How Your Charger Wastes 95% of Your Electricity

Apparently, leaving your charger plugged into a wall when not in use can waste lots of electricity. If that's a regular habit, only 5% of the power you consume goes into your gadget's battery. While the other 95% goes nowhere, since there's probably no smartphone or PDA to catch the juice. So, when your device's battery is full, remember to unplug the charger–on both ends.

I'd ramble about how consuming less power lessens pollution, but I bet you're only interested in keeping your electric bill down. And how something plugged in is always vulnerable to voltage spikes.
