If you've talked on your phone for 1300+ hours over a period of just over a year (as the owner of the unit pictured above has), you've spent a total of 55 days yapping with your contacts.
Think about it: if there are usually 365 days in a year, 55 days represents 15% of that period! Maybe our smartphone or pda phone's call duration counter serves another useful purpose. It could make it easier for us to realize that we're spending too much time on the phone.
