I won't pretend to completely understand muslim culture, since I've never regularly interacted with Muslims (we're predominantly Catholic here in the Philippines). And the closest I've gotten to experiencing Muslim culture was eating Shawarma. Hardly a good representation.
But I digress. Maybe Muslims will find this Halal Food Guide useful. It promises to take the guesswork out of deciding whether or not a certain dish is halal ("permissible") or haram ("forbidden" or "sacred"), since it seems doing so today is "becoming more and more difficult."
Now if only there was an app out there that listed the best-tasting Muslim cuisine!

This is really a good idea to made information about Halal foods available on PDAs or Smartphones. Practising Muslims and Jews are very particular about Halal meat and other stuff.
