To get discounts for establishments like Friday's and Hollywood Video, visit cellfire.com with your Mobile browser. Or, using your desktop, enter your e-mail address and number over at www.cellfire.com/getcellfire.
Honestly, this sounds like a nefarious plot by service providers to get their subscribers to use data plans. The only way to get new coupons (through Cellfire at least) is to browse the internet through your mobile gadget. As you may know, data plans can be relatively expensive, with rates based on how much data you download, not duration. Yes, you'll enjoy "$100's in savings," but only if you buy a lot of things and eat out regularly.

Well, I'll agree that "nefarious" was too strong a word; I was only exaggerating. And yes, there are ways to get coupons without using data plans; a friend told me that certain areas in the UK "broadcast" mobile coupons (not CellFire) to nearby users.
I think that my real point, that discount coupons (or "coupons") is an easy way to get customers to spend more, is still valid. :) People using may think they're saving money, when they actually aren't, because they're spending for something that they didn't plan to in the first place.
Would you mind clearing up something though? I'm under the impression that when you access the coupons from the "games/applications" menu, you're using your data plan to download the coupon. Am I mistaken?
