Sure, both freewarepalm.com and freewarePPC.com are obviously in the game for the money (notice the liberal application of ads from different services), and those pop-ups are really annoying (I honestly don't know why advertisers still resort to them, or is the saying "there's a sucker born every minute" really true?), but these websites at least link to useful and free content for your smartphone or PDA.
Of course, you can find these freeware in other places, like Skype for the Pocket PC and the eBook version of A Study in Scarlet, these websites are a convenient place to being your quest for mobile computing on the cheap.
