Ok, you probably know that megapixel means 1 million pixels. So a 3 megapixel integrated camera will take pictures made of up of 3 million pixels. That's why people generally consider higher megapixel counts a good thing. But how do you know what the dimensions of the image will be? What will be the width and the height?
Check out this Megapixel Overview Chart. It lists down frequently used megapixel counts, and clicking on an item shows its resolution in pixels. It's too bad that the mobile phone section is a bit limited, but now you know that the N95's 5 megapixels means 2592 x 1944 pixels of Visual memories.
