Mobile Services
by Umair Khalid on October 2, 2008

There is news that Ryanair, the popular low cost European airliner is soon going to offer in flight mobile services including mobile calls, texting and email to its customers on 14 of its 166 aircrafts.
These services will only be limited to O2 and 3G customers for the time being but using these services won't be cheap. O2 will charge 1.65-1.99/minute GBP for making or receiving calls depending on the call destination and it will charge 40 pence for sending text messages. Customers would be able to send and receive unlimited texts and emails during the flight but only six users would be able to make calls at one time.
