Easy Access to Your Loved Ones
I don't know about you, but I keep my girlfriendlinks on the top of my mobile's contact list.

It's a simple matter of just placing a special character in front of my girlfriend's entry name. A dash, asterisk, the letter A, or some easily inputted punctuation character will do the job. Most phones nowadays allow you to browse your contact list by filtering the entries as you type out the first few characters of your desired entry, so make sure to select a character that will allow you to focus on your loved one with just one keypress.

For example, on S60 3rd edition phones, the dash does the trick. Now that you have easy access to that significant other, just make sure you don't overspend on your interactions with him/her.
