Gizmodo through Tech Ticker has provided pictures of the new BenQ-Siemens S68 Ceramic Limited Edition. The smartphone features steel on the front, and the same ceramic used on car brakes on the back.
Yes, the special edition costs almost thrice ($635) as its normal siblings ($229.99), but Benq-Siemens hopes that this unit's good resistance against scratches, via the aforementioned materials and a specially coated display, will make an attractive selling point.
The manufacturer may have changed the outside, but the guts are still the same.
Logically Limited: No offense to the Vertu and VIPN, but both this smartphone and the Black-Tie Treo 650 are way more reasonable limited editions.
