to your Windows Mobile smartphone or PDA. Let's see what Pharos has to say about the conditionally-discounted goods:Pharos GPS Phone 600
The GPS Phone 600 delivers a powerful combination of guidance, entertainment and mobile office features on an unlocked world phone. Featuring a smart touch screen keyboard and mobile versions of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, the GPS Phone 600 equips business travelers with the tools they need to stay connected and productive. The GPS Phone 600 also includes WiFi, Bluetooth, a two mega-pixel camera with flash, FM radio, Windows Media Player Mobile, Live Search, free real-time traffic information, and a variety of handy travel applications to make travel easier and more enjoyable. Manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) for the GPS Phone 600 is $699.95. However, consumers can receive a $100 discount when downloading Live Search. Further discounts are available when purchasing the GPS Phone 600 with a T-Mobile voice and data plan. More information about the GPS Phone 600 is available at http://www.pharosgps.com.
Pharos Bluetooth GPS Receiver
Featuring the same GPS receiver that comes with Microsoft Streets & Trips, the Bluetooth GPS receiver identifies customer position and applies this location information to preloaded or web-based maps to provide more accurate and efficient directions. MSRP for the Bluetooth GPS receiver is $149.95, though Live Search for Windows Mobile users can purchase the device for $70.00 as a part of the Microsoft-Pharos promotion. Personally, some buyers may have a hard time swallowing the PTL600's expensive-discounted or not-price. Especially when the Nokia N95, which provides more functionality on top of GPS, has hit the market months ago. The Bluetooth GPS adapter sounds like a good bet though. Since it's wireless, you can leave it in your pocket while locating yourself in a city.
