Desperate for an Apple Phone, Grasping Straws with iTunes 7

Maybe companies need to be more careful with what they release to the general public. You never know the rumors a disabled option can create. MacDailyNews reports that the iTunes 7 installer has a grayed-out "iTunes Phone Driver" option, and based on this, assumes it's proof of a "future iPhone from Apple." Intrigued, I downloaded the installer to try it out.
Once I ran the installer, never did I see an option saying "iTunes Phone Driver." Keep in mind though that I use a Windows laptop, while the screenshot of MacDailyNews clearly shows an OS X installer. But I hardly think this is conclusive proof that Apple is readying an iPod phone. Perhaps the disabled option in question is meant for current iTunes-enabled phones, like the Motorola ROKR.
There's Some Good to This: Turns out iTunes 7 is somewhat better than the previous version, but that's not something for this blog.
