Verizon Wireless got the first, and so far only, dibs at the Treo 700w. Sprint retorted, gaining exclusivity with the 700w's better brother, the Treo 700wx. But this monogamous relationship only lasted a month apparently, since Engadget Mobile reports that Verizon is planning to release the 700wx sometimes this December.
It looks like the circle is complete, if the rumor is true. First Verizon Wireless releases the 700w-December of last year. Then Sprint comes out with a better version (The 700wx has double the RAM, and this makes it more responsive and reliable, to a certain degree). And now we hear the 700wx making its debut on Verizon, a return to its roots if you will.
