The Mini Map browser may be king, but coming in at second is Access Co. Ltd's NetFront Browser. Many Palm users I know actually prefer it over the pre-installed Blazer.

Only Pocket PC users will find this news interesting though. Access is about to release netfront Browser 3.4 (for the PPC) commercially. But they want to get everything right, which is why they're making a "technical preview" version available for free download. They hope adventurous Windows Mobile users will catch any bugs and provide feedback about them.

This isn't an entirely free ride of course. Some features are limited/unavailable, and the program will stop working on January 31, 2007. But if you want to help out the developers, feel free to try it out.
