Check if Your DST Update is Working as Advertised

I already wrote about the various DST updates coming from different manufacturers and service providers. But just don't blindly install them: after applying the update on your smartphone or PDA, go over your appointments and make sure that they're still set on the right time.
This may save you from arriving at that important conference call or meeting an hour late. And blaming a faulty DST update is hardly the best excuse.
