SD cards. They're moisture-readiness is nifty, no doubt about it. But maybe this feature comes into play only during very improbable situations?- You're walking beside a pool with a Nokia N95 in the pocket, when some random a-hole pushes you into the water. Turns out the data on the microSD inside the gadget is more important than your $400 Symbian smartphone, so you have nothing to worry about.
- To escape certain death, you have to swim through sewage. Unfortunately, you have this rare disease which makes the sludge fatal upon contact. Fortunately, there happens to be a waterproof nearby. Unfortunately, there's a square-centimeter hole. Fortunately, you happen to have your Buffalo microSD...
If you can provide me with much more plausible scenarios, I'll go out and buy a Bufallo waterproof microSD right now, even if it's been on the market for about a year.
