With its advanced & powerful features such as an Elegant User Interface, tabbed browsing, SnapBack and fast speed the Safari browser seems to be doing really well. According to latest figures released by an Irish company StatCounter, iPhone Safari browser has become No.1 in the US claiming 0.18% market share and it is No. 2 in the UK claiming 0.06% market share. On ther other hand mobile phone giant Nokia stands at No. 2 in the US claiming 0.01% and No.1 in the UK claiming 0.15% market share.
These are impressive figures for Apple considering the fact that it's been only 9 months since the release of the Apple iPhone Smartphone, which means that there are very few iPhone devices in the market as compared to devices from other top manufacturers such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, RIM and HTC. This is certainly a wake up call for top mobile phone manufacturers and mobile phone browser developers.
Do let us know about your personal experiences of the iPhone and particularly the Safari browser.
