Apple iOS4 Software Update now available

Apple has recently released the new iOS4 software update for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 & iPod touch. According to Apple, the new 315 MB update comes with almost 100 new features including the following:
1. Multitasking: Allows you to run multiple third party apps and switch between them.
2.Folder support: Apps installed in your iPhone can be arranged in folders with drag and drop feature.
3. User-friendly email: Multiple email accounts can now be controlled via a unified inbox and attachments can now be opened in third-party apps.
4 .iBooks store support: Users can now access iBooks store to shop for their favorite e-books.
5. Playlists: Users can now create custom playlists for better music experience.
6. 5x Digital zoom: Users can now enjoy 5x digital zoom on their iPhone cameras.
7. Wallpaper changer: Users can now have their favorite wallpaper displayed on their iphone homescreen.
8. Spell checking: This is built-in spell checker that comes to action when using Mail, Notes and other Apps.
9. Wireless keyboard support: users can nwo attach their favorite bluetooth keyboard with their iPhone devices.
10. Gift Apps: Users can now send gift apps to their friends and family.
Pleas note: All features that are part of the iOS4 update will not work on all iPhone & iPod versions. For example, multitasking features will run only on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and latest version of Apple's touch-screen iPod.
Here are the installation instructions:
1. Download the latest iTunes version 9.2.0.61 at http://www.apple.com/itunes/
2. Connect your iPhone/iPod to your PC
3. When iTunes opens up, select your device in the Source List.
4. In the iPhone Summary pane, click 'Check for Update' button.
5. Click Download and Install. Keep your iPhone connected to the pc until the update is completed.
