Brighthand finally confirms Apple considering an iPod/smartphone hybrid. Industry insiders have been buzzing about this for months, with Motorolla CEO Ed Zander saying that it's a matter of when, not if. And it does seem reasonable: what's to stop Apple from increasing a successful product's functionality?
Whether or not Apple decides to play the smartphone game, you can be sure that CEO Steve Jobs will push his company to produce something that continues Apple's tradition of stunning design.
