Here is a list of upcoming Android devices that are expected to be launched during the year 2009.

Kogan Agora/Agora Pro: Kogan is an Australian company that has announced the second ever Android device in two flavors known as the Agora and Agora Pro. The Agora will start shipping on January 29th. You can order it on Kogan's website.

HTC Hero:Pictures of a new HTC Dream like device are floating around on the web. This is possibly the Google/T-Mobile G2 Android Smartphone. No words on the pricing, availability and features as yet. Find out more here

Motorola Android Smartphone: Motorola will be launching its Android based Smartphone in second quarter of 2009. The device will come equipped with iPhone like touch screen, slide out QWERTY keyboard and a number of social networking features. Read more here

Samsung Android Smartphone: Samsung is also working on an Android Smartphone and it will be launched in Quarter 2 of 2009 in association with Sprint and T-Mobile. It is believed that the device will be similar in design to Omnia and Instinct. Find out more here

ASUS Android Smartphone: Asustek Computer Inc. will be launching an Android based Smartphone in the first half of 2009. However, not much is known about the device as yet. Read more here

Lenovo Android Smartphone: Lenovo will also be launching an Android Smartphone know as the Ophone. The Ophone will be launched by China Mobile in the Chinese Market in the first quarter of 2009. More info here

sony Ericsson Android Smartphone: Initially Sony Ericsson was reluctant on adopting the Android platform. However with the success of T-Mobile G1, Sony Ericsson has now decided to come up with an Android Smartphone. According to a Sony Ericsson spokesmen Gustaf Brusewitz, the Sony Ericsson Android Smartphone will be from the "higher segment". Expect the Sony Ericsson Android Smartphone to be available in 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2009. Find out more here

Dell Android Smartphone: According to rumors floating around, Dell is planning to enter into the Smartphone Market and it will soon be announcing a Smartphone based on the Android or Series 60 platform. No official announcement has been made by Dell but anything is possible these days. Read more here

Other manufacturers such as LG, NTT docomo, Garmin and Huawei are also planning on releasing Android devices this year.
