Top casino games for your tablet

Four out of five tablet owners can't be wrong. According to a recent survey that was the number that said that their favourite device for playing online games was their tablet, beating smartphones, laptops and desktops combined. Almost 85% of tablet owners use them for playing games, and around 10% of those play online casino games for real money. So what games are they playing? Here are some of their favourites.

Slot games are very popular, and there are many different slot games available for download at conventional online casinos as well as mobile casinos; though there is a bigger choice at regular casinos. Slots have such a wide appeal for a number of reasons; the payouts can be very large so there is always the possibility of a big win; you can play for very small stakes or quite large stakes as you wish; it is a fun game and not particularly mentally demanding, though some bonus features can be a little challenging to get your head round.

Roulette, that old casino favourite, is still one of the top tablet casino games at sites like www.jackpotcity.co.uk/online-slots/. One of the features of the game is that there are so many different kinds of bets available with a range of different payouts from evens right up to 35/1, so you can choose to win small amounts regularly or the occasional big win. Most people use a combination of both in their roulette strategy.
Blackjack is also a tablet top game. Although not exactly a mind game, you do have more control over your fate in blackjack than in most other casino games and, up to a limit, the better you play the more you are likely to win.

Poker is a hugely popular game for the tablet, and even professional poker players use it as their platform of choice. Although somewhat more challenging than blackjack it is a game that you can play at any level; you don't need to be an expert to enjoy it, though make sure that you only play people at or slightly above your personal level of skill.

Smartphone quick response (QR) codes are being used more frequently by US consumers, as over 14 million smartphone owners in the US reported scanning QR codes with their phones in the month of June alone.

This number equates to roughly 6% of the total US mobile market, and the demographic breakdown is interesting. 60% of those scanning QR codes were male, with 53% between the ages of 18 and 34 and 36% with household incomes of over $100,000. While the numbers seem large, it still represents only about 10% of all smartphone owner who are paying any attention to QR codes. Many people consider them to be a hassle because they must be scanned with the phone camera. This process usually involves a delay as the QR code sis read, and users are most often just directed to another site.

Bug In BlackBerry Enterprise Server Makes Users Vulnerable To Online Attack
© arrayexception

Blackberry has issued a warning to corporate Blackberry users about an online attack caused by a bug in one of its services. The bug, which is present in the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, makes users exposed to an online attack risk. The bug is rigged on to images, which users may receive via an email in the BES, and this would leave their blackberry open for exploitation. The flaw in the BES may also enable cybercriminals to take complete control of any Blackberry which is connected to the company's server.
Blackberry is trying to upgrade its server in order to eliminate the bug, but in the meantime has issued warnings to all corporate users to not open mails containing PNG or TIFF format images. It has been confirmed that private blackberry owners are not at risk.
